Is Sam Allardyce the man to save Leeds United?
Well, one Whites supporter certainly thinks so as Danny rang into talkSPORT to vent after his beloved Leeds lost 4-1 for the second match in a row.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side may still be 15th in the Premier League and seven points clear of the bottom three, but they have faded somewhat after their excellent start to the season and results are going against them.
It’s been a bad week for Leeds with two 4-1 defeats on the bounce
Leeds have lost three of their past four matches, with each of the previous two going against them 4-1; first to Leicester, and then to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The manner of the defeats is certainly a worry for Bielsa, with Leeds now conceding more goals than any other Premier League side this season (17), and with Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea their next three opponents, the Whites could continue to rapidly drop down the table.
And this fear has gripped Danny the Leeds fan, who phoned talkSPORT after watching the 4-1 defeat at Palace to make clear his worries.

Danny does have a solution for Leeds’ problems, however – although he said removing Bielsa from his post would be done with a heavy heart as the Elland Road cult hero deserves a statue.
But if Bielsa does go, who is brought in to replace him? Well, Danny has just the man in mind – survival specialist Big Sam!
Lets look at it on paper, began Danny on GameDay: Your Verdict. This is two defeats in a row now, both 4-1.
I love everything Bielsa has done; he completely transformed the club from when we were going absolutely nowhere and he deserves a statue for getting us back up.
All Leeds fans adore Bielsa, but is his time at Elland Road coming to an end?
But the problem weve got is the squad is so depleted. I just feel the problem weve got is a lot of these players are mid-table Championship players who he has improved, but unfortunately now it is starting to really show.
And I just worry that if we are in this position towards the end of the season, I dread to think what would happen.
I think if we went down again it could be another 16 years [to come back up]! Do we want to take that chance?
I hope we dont go down but unless there is some sort of a change or some sort of introduction of a few more experienced players especially a striker and a couple more centre-backs in January I think we could be in trouble.
And Id hate to see Bielsa go, but at the same time staying in the Premier League is more important than being loyal to anyone.
I think if anyone would keep us up it would be Big Sam.
