CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Four astronauts headed to Kennedy Space Center on Sunday for SpaceXs second crew launch, coming up next weekend. For NASA, it marks the long-awaited start of regular crew rotations at the International Space Station, with private companies providing the lifts. There will be double the number of astronauts as the test flight earlier this year, and their mission will last a full six months. The crew of three Americans and one Japanese are scheduled to rocket away Saturday night. It will be a speedy trip to the space station, a six-orbit express lasting under nine hours. Boosted by a league-high spin rate on his pitches, the righty allowed only 41 hits and 17 walks while whiffing 100 batters in 73 innings for the Cincinnati Reds. He finished with an NL-best 1.73 ERA, as well as the lowest expected ERA of any starting pitcher. This isn't the first time Bauer has pitched at a Cy Young-caliber level. An NFL roster is a zero-sum game, thanks to the salary cap. Paying one player more means you have to pay another player less. That means it's important for every team to get value out of its veteran contracts. We analyzed the rosters of all 32 NFL teams and picked out the most valuable contract on each one. In doing this analysis, we considered present value, likely long-term value and percentage of the salary cap tied up. The length of a deal is less of a consideration than it would be in other sports because injury can end a player's career at any time, and most NFL contracts are structured so that neither side will want to see the end of it. DELAFIELD, Wis. -- Two officers were shot and wounded early Friday after confronting a hit-and-run suspect in Wisconsin, police said. Delafield Police Chief Erik Kehl said that one of his officers and another from nearby Hartland confronted a man suspected in the hit-and-run crash outside a Holiday Inn at Interstate 94 and Highway 83 in Waukesha County, about 27 miles (43 kilometers) west of Milwaukee. Shots were exchanged and the two officers were hit, Kehl said. The officers wounds are not believed to be life-threatening, the chief said. Kehl urged residents in the area to stay home because the suspect in the shooting is still at large. Two people were detained, but they are not believed to be directly involved in the shooting, Kehl said.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of Remedy Entertainments Control wont make their previously scheduled holiday 2020 release windows. The developer announced Friday that Control Ultimate Edition is now expected to arrive on next-generation consoles sometime in early 2021. As the fate of the presidency hangs in the balance, the CEO of Goldman Sachs has become the latest Wall Street executive to send a reassuring message to his staff on Wednesday. David Solomon sent a firmwide voice message to Goldman's nearly 40,000-person worldwide workforce on Wednesday evening, addressing the results of the presidential election, which, as of Thursday morning, remained undecided.
